It’s been a while since we’ve done this, so here we go.

We’re looking for more banners to add to the site because we’re lazy and want to offload our work on to you people.

Contest Rules: Banners must reference DDY/DameDesuYo in some way. Banners must relate to past shows we’ve done or be entirely original art/characters. Dimensions must be between 940×250 and 1366×250. All submissions must be safe for work. PNGs are preferred over JPGs. Animated GIFs are allowed, but cannot be epilepsy inducing, and are much more appreciated if they can loop nicely like the Working banner. GIFs must be less than 2.5MB. Submit your banners on Discord in the #banner-contest channel. Contest will run from Feb 14-Mar 21, 2021. Results will be decided within 48 hours of contest end. Winners will be selected by votes from DDY Staff: Gold, Silver, Bronze, and two runners up. We are working on how to run a “fan favorite” effectively as well. News on that later, probably via Discord. Fan favorite would also be eligible to be a ranked prize winner. Prizes 1st prize will get to choose 1 permanent emote and gif emote of their choice (subject to our discord rules and staff discretion). 1st-3rd will each get a free month of Discord Nitro. Top 5 will be allowed any referral link you’d like (subject to our expectations of conduct and content) in the blog post to your own site, portfolio, etc. Credits in results blog post. All banners have a chance of being selected for use, even if they are not ranked winners, and will be credited accordingly.

If we have an issue or a suggestion in regards to your banner, we will bring it up with you directly, so be sure to save your work and make backups in Photoshop or GIMP!
